This position takes affect from 1st January 2020 but the appointed
person would be expected to work with the current Secretary during the
2019 NZDC Championships.

take out the latest and first NZDC ranking tournament for the year by
winning the Canterbury Classic Open Singles titles in Christchurch.

Ladies Final: Desi Mercer (Southland) 5 - 4 Judy Fenton (Waihi)
Men's Semi Finals: Darren Herewini beat John Hurring 5 - 3 and Mark

Ladies Semi Finals: Desi Mercer beat Sha Hohipa 4 - 1 and Judy Fenton

24th February:
Rob Gillan will have more than just
winning on his mind when her heads to Belgium in March.
The 32 year old is set to become New Zealand's first representative at
the Winmau World Cup of Darts for players with disabilities to be held
in Ostend.
Rob will compete in a composite world team against other countries. He
will also play individually in the singles and his Otago coach, Eddie
Girdler will travel and coach the World team.
Bob Wilson Chairman of NZDC presents Rob with a cheque for $2000 to help
with his travels.

Glen Durrant (England) and Mikuru Suzuki
(Japan) became BDO Lakeside World Professional Darts Champions.
Glen beat Scott Waites (England) 7 sets to 3 sets in the final to make
history by matching Eric Bristow's record of three consecutive World
Championship titles.
Mikuru beat Lorraine Winstanley (England) 3 sets to 0 sets to win her
first World Championship titles.
